I came to Jessica as a senior in high school, hoping to get into the music program at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Jessica was very helpful and knowledgeable and I was able to learn so much just in the first month or so of taking lessons. She is a wonderful voice teacher, very positive and encouraging. After taking lessons with her, I was admitted to the music program at UWEC. She is a fantastic person to work with, and I am so happy that I was able to learn from such an incredible teacher.

Jessica is an amazing teacher. She is passionate about music and that shines through in her teaching. I was continually impressed with how she was able to connect to my son's passions (Star Wars, Legos) and bring them into his lessons. Her style is innovative and creative, engaging yet firm. Our daughter Ella tends to thrive when she makes a personal connection with her teachers, but when we first started her in piano lessons, that just wasn't happening. Once we found the Timman Music Studio, everything changed: it's not just that Jessica is teaching Ella how to play, it's that she makes it *enjoyable*. But Jessica also expects her students to work hard, and this is helping Ella not only learn piano more effectively, but grow as a person as well. Her piano lessons are now an integral part of her overall education. I honestly can't say enough about Jessica's approach to teaching music: it's been a privilege for our first daughter to learn with her, and once our second is old enough, she'll be going as well.

She builds your music strengths while also keeping a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. I came to Jessica looking for a little help on the side while preparing for my musicals, honor choirs, show choir, and many other activities.
